The international science outreach festival Pint of Science is returning to Â鶹ÊÓƵ in May and doctoral researchers, technical and research staff from across the University are encouraged to get involved.

Taking place 19-21 May, from 4pm-7pm each evening, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s research community will be making their way from labs and offices to local cafés, restaurants and pubs to share their research stories.

Join Pint of Science Â鶹ÊÓƵ 2025 as we build on the success of our 2024 festival, where Â鶹ÊÓƵ was the third-largest Pint of Science event in the UK. With 36 volunteers and 55 incredible speakers, we brought top-quality research to life for over 430 attendees.

The headline session, ‘Powering the Future: The Clean Energy Revolution’, will focus on groundbreaking innovations in clean energy and its applications, featuring both Â鶹ÊÓƵ researchers and top industry experts.

Apply now and bring cutting-edge science to the local community in a fun, accessible way. To get involved, please sign up to the themes by 10 March, using the links below.
